What this blog is about.

All life is a process isn't it?

I want to lower the cost of building modest houses.

I began with with masonry vaulted roofs, from brick domes to vaulted roofs, to groined vaulted roofs (cross vaults).

and have moved on to
-rammed earth
-stone work both dry and mortared
-bamboo
-recycled lumber
-rainwater harvesting
-adobe
-rocket stoves and mass heaters
-lime and clay paints

About Me

My photo
MzunguEriki
I grew up (?) in Washington State, USA. Moved to Tanzania right after college (1977) and when my parents left Tanzania I was left behind. Currently I run an ISP but would rather be biking or building a house.
